No matter how popular a car model or car manufacturer is, there is no guarantee that their vehicles will be free of problems. This especially becomes a norm when a new car is launched. Generally, the first few batches of a new vehicle tend to suffer from a lot of problems. Recently, a person became a victim of this, as his newly purchased Tata Safari facelift Dark Edition started to encounter some huge problems just 10 days after the purchase. What was even worse was that the side curtain airbags of his SUV accidentally deployed when the dealership tried to solve some other issues.

He elaborated that the owner complained that his new top-of-the-line Safari’s new digital instrument gauge cluster stopped working. The owner added that after this, even the windows and the left side LED headlights and DRLs also stopped working. Apart from these, the owner complained that a few of the ADAS features also didn’t function, including the emergency braking. He explained that the car could not detect a car in front to apply brakes. The owner of the car also shared a few videos showing the problems.

What happened next?

At the moment, the owner of the car on X has not informed if he has been provided with any solution. Most likely, Tata Motors will be taking note of the situation and offering a solution to the customer. However, it has to be mentioned that such a new car should not be suffering from such problems. We understand that the cars today have a lot of electronics and things can malfunction, but a 10-day-old car suffering from such issues is a matter of huge concern.
