2023 Honda Elevate: Official TVC released [Video]

The Japanese automotive giant, Honda Cars India, finally launched its much-anticipated compact SUV, Elevate, in India. Honda has launched its first mid-size SUV with a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakhs, and it goes up to Rs 15.99 lakhs. This Hyundai Creta rival offers a bold and imposing exterior and a classy interior. The model is already at a six-month waiting period; however, to boost sales even further, the company has released an all-new TVC (television commercial) for this newly launched SUV.

The brand-new television commercial of the Honda Elevate has been shared on YouTube by Honda Cars India‘s official channel. The video starts off with a man moving closer to the brand new Elevate and unlocking it. It then shows the new bold LED headlights with its thick signature LED DRL. A glimpse of the interior of this new SUV is also shown in the video. The dual-tone tan and black interior with the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with its wireless charger, are all shown in the video.

Next up, the video shows the Elevate and its driver passing in front of a few high-rise corporate offices, and a few men start to chase the SUV. After this, the driver is shown using the paddle shifter of the car, and he crosses an off-road course to reach the road where he is chased by people on horses playing Polo. Next up, a group of paragliders is shown following the SUV. Soon after this, a group of women is also shown chasing the Honda Elevate in their boats. The video then ends with the statement that when you are in the Honda Elevate, “You are the Chase.”

Honda Elevate competition

The Honda Elevate, as mentioned, is the company’s first compact SUV, and it competes in the Indian market with some of the most popular models. The list of competitors for the Elevate includes Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the MG Astor. The model plans to achieve the feat over its competitors with offerings such as the biggest boot, bigger length, and width. Now, whether it succeeds in its plans or not, will be unfolded in the coming months.

Honda Elevate variants and colors

This brand-new SUV is offered by Honda in 4 variants, namely SV, V, VX, and ZX. The company commenced the reservations for the Elevate a while ago, and the cars have already started arriving at dealerships, and it now also has a waiting period of six months. Honda is offering the Elevate with monotone color options, namely Phoenix Orange, Obsidian Blue, Radiant Red, Platinum White, Golden Brown, Meteoroid Gray, and Lunar Silver. Additionally, the dual-tone color options consist of Phoenix Orange with a Crystal Black roof, Radiant Red with a Crystal Black roof, and Platinum White with a Crystal Black roof.

Honda Elevate powertrain

In terms of the powertrain side of things, the Honda Elevate comes only with the option of a single naturally aspirated petrol engine option. The car comes equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine found under the bonnet of its sedan sibling City. This engine will come paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. In terms of the power figures, this petrol engine generates 121 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of maximum torque.
