Kia Motors India has once again taken the automotive market by storm with the official launch of the highly-anticipated 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. This popular SUV, known for its stylish design, feature-packed interiors, and impressive performance, has always been a best-seller in the Indian market since its first launch and the new 2023 Seltos is no different. Since its launch on 21 July 2023, customers have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on this new and updated version. However, the details of the waiting period for each variant have now just been revealed.

As the demand for the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift soars, the waiting periods for different variants have been disclosed by the automaker. Starting with the entry-level petrol variants, which include the HTE, HTK, HTK+, and HTX trims, customers can expect a waiting period of four to five weeks from the day of booking for the petrol variants. Meanwhile, those eyeing the diesel-powered versions of these trims will have a slightly longer wait of eight to nine weeks.

Moving up the ladder, all other variants, with the exception of the GTX Plus and X Line trims, come with an eight to nine weeks waiting period. These trims include the HTX petrol CVT variant and the HTX diesel variant. However, for customers interested in the top-of-the-line GTX Plus and X Line variants, whether in petrol or diesel guise, might have to exercise patience, as the waiting period extends to 14 to 15 weeks for these highly sought-after variants.

Talking about the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, the model now boasts a refreshed exterior design that captures attention from every angle. Upfront, the SUV features repositioned LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), adjusted headlamps, a larger front grille, and new lower bumper skid plates, creating a bold and aggressive stance that sets it apart on the road. On the sides, KIA has revamped the alloy wheel design, with lower models now sporting stunning 17-inch wheels, while the GT Line and X-Line variants elevate the aesthetic appeal with exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels and cosmetic enhancements.

Moving on to the inside, the 2023 Seltos, offers a plethora of technological advancements and luxurious comforts. One of the highlights is the introduction of the panoramic dual display system, featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console. For those seeking more performance, there’s a 1.5-liter T-GDI Turbo engine with either a 6-speed iMT transmission or a 7-speed DCT transmission producing 158 bhp and 253 Nm. Additionally, select variants offer a 1.5-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed iMT transmission, offering 116 PS power and 250 Nm torque.
