2023 Tata Safari Facelift: New ‘Reclaim your life’ TVC released

Recently launched, the extensively updated Tata Safari has taken off with a flying start, riding on the excitement built around its design tweaks, added features, and the festive season buzz. Now that the festivities have come to an end, Tata Motors is actively promoting the new Safari. An example of this is the new “Reclaim Your Life” ad campaign featuring the SUV.

Tata Motors released the new “Reclaim Your Life” video advertisement showcasing the top-tier Accomplished+ diesel-automatic variant of the new Tata Safari in the striking Cosmic Gold hue. The video commences with three young individuals leaving a party, attired in formal wear, and approaching a Safari parked in the building’s basement. It symbolizes the new Safari as a means of escape for individuals seeking to break free from their routine lives and explore the world to “reclaim their lives.”

The video progresses, featuring the new Tata Safari cruising on the highway before taking a detour into the wilderness, highlighting the SUV’s capabilities over off-road terrains. The video showcases exterior highlights of the new Safari, including all-LED lighting, dynamic LED lights at the front and rear, new segment-best 19-inch alloy wheels, and subtle exterior design enhancements.

It then shifts focus to the interior highlights, presenting new features added to the SUV, such as ambient lighting and paddle shifters. Further, it highlights features like dual-tone black and ivory-white leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, a redesigned dashboard layout, and captain seats in the middle row. The video emphasizes the Tata Safari’s dynamic driving appeal in the wilderness, staying true to its SUV DNA derived from Land Rover.

Original ad dates back to 2006

The “Reclaim Your Life” campaign for the Tata Safari brand originated in 2006, featuring the first ad under this campaign shot for the old Tata Safari DICOR. Similarly, it projected the Safari as an escape from routine life to experience adventurous journeys. The campaign was reintroduced for the all-new Tata Safari launched in 2021, focusing on the Adventure Persona of the Safari in the video advertisement.

The heavily updated Tata Safari was launched in October 2023 ahead of the festive season, receiving comprehensive styling updates both inside and out, and offering enhanced comfort, convenience, and safety features. However, its 2.0-litre 170 PS diesel engine remained unchanged, continuing to be offered with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices.

Scored a perfect five-star rating

In accordance with the more stringent new Global NCAP protocol, the new Tata Harrier and Safari models underwent testing. On the other hand, the rival Mahindra XUV700 was tested under the older protocol.

Both the Tata Harrier and Safari have achieved an impressive 5-star rating, scoring 33.05 out of 34 points for adult occupant protection. In the tests conducted, both vehicles showed excellent protection for the head and neck of both the driver and passenger. The evaluations also determined that the chest protection for both the driver and passenger was adequate.
