The Mahindra XUV700 is currently the most expensive and most technologically advanced SUV that the company has to offer. This SUV was launched back in August of 2021, and ever since then, it has maintained its position as one of the most popular SUVs in the country. Recently, a video of the all-new 2024 model Mahindra XUV700 has been shared online. The video gives an in-depth, detailed walkaround of the 2024 XUV700 AX7 petrol automatic variant.
2024 Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Walkaround
This detailed walkaround video comes courtesy of Santosh Kushwaha from YouTube. It starts off with the presenter explaining that the XUV700 is offered in a total of 5 variants by the company. The list of these variants includes MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7 L. He adds that this SUV is offered with both petrol and diesel engines, five and seven-seater layouts, and also manual and automatic transmission options along with an AWD system as well.
The pricing of the XUV700 starts at Rs 14 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 26.57 lakh. This particular Petrol automatic AX7 variant is priced at Rs 22.71 lakh. Following this, he adds that the XUV700 is offered in six different color options, including Midnight Black (new), Everest White, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, Electric Blue, and Napoli Black. Next up, the presenter then shows the flip key of the XUV700.
Mahindra XUV700 Design Details: Exterior
After this, the presenter then starts with the walkaround of the exterior of the XUV700. He starts at the front and mentions that the SUV comes equipped with a very bold yet sophisticated front fascia. It includes the new Mahindra twin-peak logo and six brushed silver slats. It also comes with LED headlights with LED DRLs and LED fog lights. Next up, he adds that the car also gets rain-sensing wipers and ADAS level 2.
Following the front of the car, he shows the side profile of the car which comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels. The XUV700 also gets automatic foldable ORVMs with LED turn indicators. He adds that the AX7 L variant which sits above it also comes with a 360-degree camera. The presenter then lists some of the safety features of this SUV, which includes six airbags including curtain airbags, ABS, Traction control system, tyre pressure monitoring system, and ESC along with a host of ADAS features. He adds that the XUV 700 has scored a perfect five-star safety rating in Global NCAP.
Next up, the presenter shows the rear end of the car and mentions that it gets a set of LED taillights and the overall rear end looks very sophisticated. He adds that this AX7 variant misses out on sequential turn indicators which the AX7 L variant comes equipped with. He then adds that the car also comes with a rear window wiper, washer, and defogger, high mount stop lamp, and shark fin antenna.
Interior Design
Following the exterior walkaround, the presenter then moves to the interior of the XUV700. He states that it comes equipped with a very premium-looking leather upholstered interior which also offers a number of features. The list of the features offered with the XUV700 AX7 includes 6-way adjustable powered seats with a memory function, two 10-inch screens with one on the right being the digital instrument gauge cluster, and the one on the left being the touchscreen infotainment system. He also shows the multifunction steering with controls for the infotainment system and cruise control. The presenter also shows the automatic climate control system as well.
XUV700 Petrol Engine
Following the interior, he shows the engine of the car. He states that it comes powered by a 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine that produces 197 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. He adds that it comes equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission and offers a mileage of 13 kmpl according to ARAI.
