India’s leading SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, has unveiled the much-anticipated 2024 XUV700, captivating SUV enthusiasts with its refreshed look and enhanced features. Priced competitively at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new XUV700 is set to take on rivals like the Tata Safari facelift, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.
In 2023, the XUV700 proved its mettle in the market, selling an impressive 74,434 units and accumulating over 140,000 units since its launch in August 2021. The 2024 XUV700 promises both exterior and interior updates, introducing the striking Napoli Black color option to its palette.

Bookings for the 2024 Mahindra XUV700 will commence from January 15, with demo vehicles arriving at dealerships by January 25. To expedite deliveries, Mahindra has amped up its production capacity, ensuring eager customers get behind the wheel sooner. The exterior of the new XUV700 is adorned with the Napoli Black touch, featuring black roof rails, a black grille with chrome accents, and sleek black alloys. For those seeking an extra flair, an optional dual-tone color with a Napoli Black roof is on offer. Inside, the AX7 and AX7L variants boast upgrades like dark chrome air vents and console bezel.

The 2024 XUV700 introduces captain seats in the AX7 and AX7L variants, coupled with front-ventilated seats in the AX7L. The AX7L goes a step further with integrated outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) featuring a memory function for added convenience. Mahindra has amplified the XUV700’s AdrenoX suite, now featuring 83 connected car functions, including firmware over-the-air (FOTA) capabilities. The suite offers a prognosis feature, delivering timely updates on upcoming service needs, and ‘Ask Mahindra,’ serving as a concierge service.

Under the hood, the XUV700 offers a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, with the latter available in two power configurations. As part of the 2024 XUV700 launch, Mahindra is set to roll out the ‘White Glove Chauffeur Training Programme’ in metro towns every two months. The program, starting in Delhi and Ahmedabad, will provide chauffeurs with expert training on vehicle functionalities, ADAS systems, emergency handling, and understanding faults and error signs.
