The first new car on the launch roster of Kia is the Clavis ICE. This new compact SUV will be positioned above Sonet in the current lineup. Kia reportedly will be offering it with a ton of features such as a 360-degree camera, ADAS, panoramic sunroof, and a ton of others.

As per the reports, the company will be offering it a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine as seen on the Sonet. A diesel engine could also be on offer. It could be launched around the end of 2024. Also, pricing-wise, the company could offer it at Rs 14 lakh.

Apart from the ICE version, Kia is also planning to offer the Clavis in an EV avatar as well. Codenamed as the EV2, the Clavis EV is slated to be launched around mid-2025. It will be based on the E-GMP Platform. At the moment, the exact details about the powertrain of this EV SUV have not been revealed. As for the design, it will look pretty much identical to the Clavis ICE.

Back in February of this year, the flagship Kia electric SUV was spotted testing in India. This new model will boast a massive road presence. It will also be based on the E-GMP Platform from the brand. The entry-level RWD variant will be offered with a single 215 bhp motor paired with a 76.1 kWh battery. It will deliver a range of 358 km.

There will also be a larger 99.8 kWh battery variant. It will offer an extensive 541 km of range. It will also come with an option of a dual-motor setup. It will offer a combined output of 380 bhp. The Kia EV9 could be priced around Rs 80 lakh and launched around the end of this year.

Kia pulled the plug on its Carnival premium MPV a while ago. The company is now planning to introduce the new generation of this popular MPV. It will boast a sharper and modern appearance and will be offered with a ton of features. Most likely, it will be launched with a premium over the last price tag of Rs 30 lakh. Additionally, it has been reported that it could be launched around the end of this year.

Kia is also gearing up for the launch of its popular MPV Carens facelift in India. It will be launching this facelifted iteration in the first three months of 2025. Recently, a test mule of the lower spec variant of this new MPV was spotted testing.

From the test mule, it was noted that it will get a new revised front and rear end. At the front, it will get new headlights and a new bumper. Additionally, on the rear, it will get new L-shaped LED taillights. It will also be getting features like a 360-degree camera, ADAS, ventilated front seats, and a ton of other creature comforts. Expect to see a bump in the pricing.

Like all the other EV models, the Kia Carens EV, which has been codenamed the EV3, will be based on the E-GMP Platform. It will be making its debut in India around June of 2025. It will also boast a very futuristic exterior design with a lot of sharp body lines as noted from the leaked pictures.

At the moment, the exact powertrain specifications of this EV MPV have not been revealed. However, reports claim that it could be offered with a 400km range. As for the pricing, it is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 20-25 lakh.

Kia EV6 facelift

Kia recently unveiled the EV6 facelift globally, and reportedly it will be making its debut in India around 2026. The EV6 now gets a bigger battery pack. It will now get a bigger 84 kWh battery pack instead of the 77.5 kWh battery.

The RWD variant will come with a single 225 bhp, 350 Nm motor. It will offer a 494 km range, up from 474 km earlier. There will also be a dual-motor variant which will offer 320 bhp and 605 Nm of torque. It will also get a revamped exterior and interior as well.
