Actor R Madhavan’s son learns to drive in a Porsche: Internet goes crazy [Video]

Most actors have their sons and daughters in the same industry, but not R Madhavan. His son, Vedaant Madhavan, has a huge fan following, but he has excelled in a different category altogether. He is an athlete and has represented India in several national and international swimming events. A video of Vedaant Madhavan went viral on the internet, where he was seen learning how to drive a car. What made this video special, of course, was the car in which he was learning – a Porsche Cayenne SUV.

The video of Vedaant learning to drive was shared by Galadari Motor Driving Centre in Dubai, where they had him drive a Porsche Cayenne luxury SUV. In the video that has surfaced online, Vedaant is seen sitting in the driver’s seat with his instructor on the co-passenger side. He says, “Hi, I am Vedaant Madhavan, and today I am at the Galadari Motor Driving Centre. I just passed my theory exam, and now I am with my amazing instructor to learn how to drive. I am driving this amazing Porsche, and I can’t wait to get my license.” After the video became public, netizens reacted in different ways.

Most of them were amazed to see a driving school offering a Porsche as a car for learning to drive. In most comments, people were comparing their experiences at driving schools in India. Many of them commented that they had learned to drive in an old Maruti 800, and they were surprised to see Vedant behind the wheels of a Porsche. In India, most driving schools offer inexpensive cars like Maruti 800, Alto, WagonR, Swift, or Dzire to their students. Rarely have we seen any expensive cars at driving schools.

Another set of people who commented under the video were appreciating him for his achievements. They called him an actually talented child of a celebrity, unlike others who simply followed their parents’ path into the film industry. Many of them even wished him luck for his upcoming driving test as well. R Madhavan, a popular actor in the Indian film industry, is known for his roles in several notable movies. He has a decent collection of expensive cars and bikes, including Yamaha V-Max, BMW K1200 GTL, Ducati Diavel, Indian Roadmaster, and so on.

His son, Vedaant Madhavan, is 17 years old and has represented India in several swimming championships. He won medals at the Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championship and secured five gold and two silver medals. He was representing Team Maharashtra in the 2023 Khelo India tournament. Last year, Vedaant also secured a gold medal in the 800m Danish Open men’s freestyle swimming. Actor R Madhavan is extremely supportive of his son’s swimming career, and despite his busy schedule, he finds time to watch the competitions and support his son. The actor has admitted the same in many of his interviews.
