Tamil Movie Star Ajith Kumar’s Wife Gifts Him Ducati Multistrada On Birthday

Tamil movie star Ajith Kumar is a big-time bike enthusiast. He is known as “Thala” among his fans, and the actor is celebrating his 53rd birthday this year. This year, he received a special gift from his wife, Shalini. He was gifted a brand-new Ducati Multistrada V4 adventure tourer motorcycle. The images of the actor’s new Ducati have already surfaced on various social media platforms.

We have come across several videos and images of Ajith’s Multistrada. It looks like his wife, Shalini, who was also an actress, had arranged a special party for the actor on his birthday, and the bike was gifted to him at that party. Many fan pages posted these images and videos. Ajith Kumar is a hardcore biker and has explored almost every corner of the country on his motorcycle.

The Ducati Multistrada seen here is actually a high-performance adventure touring motorcycle. It looks like the Multistrada V4, which costs Rs 21.48 lakh, ex-showroom. The Multistrada range of motorcycles from Ducati consists of adventure touring motorcycles. Ducati offers V2, V2 S, V4, and V4 S variants in India. The Multistrada V4 variant gifted to Ajith Kumar was actually the third Ducati to get a V4 engine.

The Multistrada V4 gets a fully adjustable 50 mm upside-down fork and adjustable monoshock. It gets Ducati’s latest electronics system powered by an inertial measurement unit to manage the cornering anti-lock braking system (ABS), wheelie control, and traction control systems.

The bike comes with four ride modes – Travel, Enduro, Sport, and Urban. Each of these modes changes the engine output, traction control, and ABS settings of the bike to suit the riding style. The motorcycle is powered by a 1,158 cc, V4 engine that generates 170 Ps and 125 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle also gets a cylinder deactivation system, which shuts down the rear cylinder bank when the bike is idling.

This is not the only adventure touring motorcycle that Ajith has in his collection. He owns a BMW R1250 GS along with many other motorcycles. He recently started a motorcycle touring company under the name – Venus Motorcycle Tours. This new venture of Ajith Kumar provides guided tours. The actor recently took a group on motorcycles to explore the Western Ghats.

Before becoming an actor, Ajith Kumar used to work as a mechanic. He chose this job just because of his passion for vehicles. Later, due to his father’s wish, he had to switch careers and started working as a business developer for a family friend’s garment exporting company. While he was working, he did a few modeling gigs and also picked up racing on a professional level. He has participated in several professional races in Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi. He even drove in the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championship and the 2010 Formula 2 championship.

Ajith Kumar is a person who has inspired many actors from various film industries to get into motorcycling.
