Bengaluru is known as the Silicon Valley of India. This hi-tech city in Karnataka is infamous for its traffic jams. We have heard many stories about people getting stuck in traffic in this city. However, Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) recently experienced unusual traffic congestion on September 27. Many people were stuck on the road for hours. One individual who was stuck in the traffic jam earlier this week had no other choice but to order food online. However, he did not order food to his home, but to the car in which he was traveling. The video of the person who ordered pizza to his car while stuck in traffic has now gone viral.

The video has been shared on various social media platforms, including X. There are several videos available online that show how bad the situation was in many parts of the city. Rishivaths and his friends were stuck in the traffic, as seen in the video. They probably got hungry as they were stuck for a very long time. He ordered a pizza while on the move. They ordered pizza from Domino’s. Their delivery partners were actually kind enough to track the live location and deliver the pizza to the car.

Rishivaths wrote, “When we decided to order from @dominos during the Bangalore choke, they were kind enough to track our live location (a few meters away from our random location added in the traffic) and deliver to us in the traffic jam. #Bengaluru #bengalurutraffic #bangaloretraffic”

In this video, we can see many vehicles stuck in a traffic jam. All the vehicles were moving very slowly, and through the narrow gaps between the cars, the pizza delivery partner rode their bike and stopped in front of the car. They parked the bike on the roadside and walked to the car. As they were on a bike, they could actually manage to ride without any issues.

This is not the first time we have come across an incident like this. Bengaluru city is infamous for its traffic jams, and recently, a woman who was stuck in traffic was seen peeling vegetables. The traffic jam on the ORR was massive, and the Bengaluru traffic police have identified possible reasons for this unusual jam. The traffic police said that there were five major reasons, and one of them was the volume of vehicles. When compared to a usual day, the road had double the volume of vehicles. Normally, on Wednesday, the vehicle count is around 1.5-2 lakhs; however, it reached 3.59 lakhs by 7:30 pm on that day. The surge was due to the bandh in the city a day before.

Other than this, the long weekend and waterlogging on many roads due to heavy rains were the reasons. The traffic police also mentioned that the heavy rains also caused the formation of multiple potholes on the road, which slowed down the smooth flow of traffic on the road. The ORR is already narrowed due to metro construction. On this road, up to six vehicle breakdowns were reported during the peak time, and this also resulted in traffic congestion.
