Scooter Rider’s Crazy Reflex Saves Him From Coming Under Bus [Video]

In this short clip, a young man somehow managed to escape an extremely dangerous accident after he fell off his scooter right in front of a bus. What happened is the scooter rider was at a decently high speed on the right turn. Soon after making this turn, he notices that there is a bus coming from the opposite side. In order to avoid hitting the bus directly, he applies both of his scooter’s brakes. Due to this, the scooter skids on the road, and the rider falls.

At the same time he falls on the road, the bus comes extremely near to this man. We can then note that after falling, the scooter rider shows an extremely quick response and jumps towards the opposite side of the bus. He managed to do this despite falling on the road.

Alertness was key

In this particular incident, it can be observed that alertness has played a massive role. Both the bus driver and the scooter rider were extremely alert and showed quick responses. The rider, despite falling, managed to move away. On the other hand, the bus driver managed to avoid hitting the scooter rider by turning his bus to the left.

Being able to quickly turn a heavy vehicle like a bus is not an easy task. However, despite this, the bus driver managed to turn it fully towards the left side of the road. Also, while performing this save, the bus avoided toppling as it is a top-heavy vehicle. In addition, he also managed to avoid hitting the wall on the left side of the road.

What actually happened?

According to us, what actually happened was that the scooter rider was at a slightly higher speed, which he should not have been on such a narrow road. It can be noted that after making the turn, he first crossed a small puddle on the left side of the road.

It can also be observed that the tires of his scooter must have become wet. So when he saw the bus coming from the opposite side, he immediately applied the brakes of his scooter. As the tires were wet, the scooter skidded, and this caused the rider to fall.

No safety gear while riding

Thankfully, nothing happened to the scooter rider, the bus driver, or its passengers. However, it can be noted that the scooter rider was not wearing a helmet while riding.
