Recently, he purchased a 1,000-acre tea plantation in Kerala’s Wayanad. As part of promoting his business, he organized a New Year party and imported a Ford F650 monster truck from Dubai. Like most millionaire businessmen, Boby also owns a variety of expensive cars and SUVs, including the recently imported F650 Super Truck. Lexus RX 350h
The first car featured in the video is a Lexus RX 350h hybrid luxury SUV. Launched in the market last year, this black-colored SUV exudes elegance. It is powered by a 2.5-liter NA petrol engine paired with an electric motor, generating a combined power of 248 Bhp and 242 Nm of torque. Priced at around Rs 95 lakh (ex-showroom), this luxury SUV stands out.
DC Avanti
The next car highlighted in the video is the DC Avanti, finished in a yellow shade. Once referred to as the Indian sports car, it failed to attract many buyers due to various reasons. This 2-seater sports car with a coupe-like design is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, producing a maximum of 250 Bhp and 340 Nm of torque. It was available with a manual gearbox only.
Rolls Royce Phantom VII
Arguably the car that brought Boby Chemmanur to national prominence, the Rolls Royce Phantom VII, was India’s first Rolls Royce taxi with a golden wrap. Acquired through an auction for his taxi service, Boby rents it to common people at a rate of Rs 25,000, which also includes a 3-day stay at his resorts.
Ford F650
The latest addition to his collection is the Ford F650 Supertruck, officially not sold in India. The petrol version of this pickup truck is powered by a 7.3-liter V8 engine generating 350 PS and 635 Nm of torque. The diesel version utilizes a 6.7-liter V8 engine, producing 330 PS and 1,015 Nm of peak torque.
Mercedes-Benz EQC
Boby was one of the first buyers of the Mercedes-Benz EQC SUV, the German car manufacturer’s initial electric car in India. A fully electric version of the GLC, it boasts a range of 429 km and is loaded with features.
Range Rover Sport
Another luxury vehicle in Boby Chemmannur’s garage is a 2017 Range Rover Sport powered by a 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine, generating a maximum of 296 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. This SUV easily surpasses a crore in cost.
Range Rover Velar
In 2021, Boby acquired a brand new Range Rover Velar. The SUV is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 201 Bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque. A proper SUV with AWD, it is priced under a crore, ex-showroom. Apart from these, Boby Chemmanur owns expensive cycles, off-road spec Mahindra Jeeps, and ATVs in his garage. He also bought a Toyota Hilux soon after he brought the F650 to India.
