This image rendering of the Toyota Fortuner GR Sports has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of Malwin SE. We can note that the artist has gone completely nuts with the design. He has made this SUV look extremely butch and imposing. Finished in this Nardo Grey color scheme, it looks absolutely amazing.

From the image, the first thing that eagle-eyed viewers would note is that this particular Fortuner is actually not a Fortuner. Instead, it appears to be based on the Toyota Sequoia SUV, which the company sells in the United States of America. It is one of the most popular SUVs on sale from the brand in the country.

As for the details of this rendering, we can note that at the front, it gets an extremely aggressive and imposing fascia. It gets L-shaped LED DRLs and LED headlights with a massive honeycomb upper and lower grille. This rendered SUV also ditches the standard Toyota logo and gets Toyota lettering instead.

The lower portion of the front bumper houses LED fog lights and vertical air vents on the sides. The bonnet also gets a massive scoop, which most likely could be functional. The front grille also gets a GR badge, which is a signature brand that represents “Gazoo Racing,” the racing arm of Toyota.

Moving on to the side profile, we can note that this rendered version utilizes a similar silhouette to the Toyota Sequoia. It gets squared-off wheel arches with massive multi-spoke alloy wheels. These look to be around 21 inches in diameter.

We can also observe a higher shoulder line and the signature kink between the rear door and the last row window. Apart from this, the rendering does not show the rear of the car. However, we assume that it would be equally bold and aggressive.

In addition to the GR Sports version, the digital artist has also designed a standard version of this 2025 Toyota Fortuner. It can be noted that it ditches the massive honeycomb grille at the bottom and replaces it with a much more normal yet aggressive-looking air dam.

It also gets blacked-out side claddings and 12-spoke alloy wheels, which look more suited for off-roading. The rest of the side profile looks pretty much the same as the GR Sports version. Most likely, this will not be the final production version. However, it’s images like these that can help us understand the fan following that the Toyota Fortuner enjoys in India as well as international markets.
