Bollywood Actor Kartik Aaryan Says He Barely Drives His Rs 5 Crore Mclaren Supercar: Here’s Why

The super popular Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, back in June of 2022, was gifted a McLaren GT supercar worth Rs 5 crore. This supercar was presented to him as a gift after the success of his movie “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” by its producer Bhushan Kumar. The actor, however, recently revealed that ever since he got the car, he has driven it only a few times. He added that he even had to pay lakhs in repairs as rats chewed on the carpets of his car.

Recently, while speaking to the Lallantop, he said, “I drive my other car. I have hardly driven the McLaren. It was in the garage for a long time, so rats chewed the mat, which cost me a lot. I had to pay lakhs of rupees to fix the mat.” The actor mentioned this after he was asked if he regularly drives his McLaren supercar or not.

As mentioned above, in 2022, T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar, who produced the movie “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” gifted this McLaren GT to Kartik Aaryan. He presented this car to the actor after the movie became a massive success in India. This particular car gifted to Kartik is finished in the lovely shade of McLaren Orange.

This particular shade is a darker version of the brand’s iconic color – Papaya Orange. Kartik’s McLaren GT also features gloss black multi-spoke 20-inch (front) and 21-inch (rear) alloy wheels. On the inside, the car has been opted with a black Alcantara interior. Other optional extras added to this car have not been reported.

For those who may not be aware, the McLaren GT is the entry-level model from the British supercar manufacturer. It costs Rs 4.5 crore (ex-showroom). The main highlight of this car is its 4.0-liter V8 engine with twin turbos.

The engine churns out a maximum power of 611 bhp and peak torque of 630 Nm. It comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The McLaren GT can do 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed is limited to 326 km/h.

Other than the McLaren GT, the actor recently bought himself a brand-new Range Rover. He has chosen the most expensive SV Long Wheelbase variant of this SUV, which costs Rs 4.47 crore. The actor has opted for the Deep Emerald Green shade for his Range Rover. It also gets high gloss black alloy wheels as well.

The Range Rover SV LWB comes with an SV-specific grille and front bumper, LED headlights, 22-inch diamond-turned dual-tone alloy wheels, and aluminum scuff plates with illuminated SV script.

It also gets four-zone climate control, a refrigerator, 24-way heated and cooled executive rear seats, a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, as well as two 13.1-inch rear infotainment screens. Additionally, it comes equipped with a Meridian 3D surround sound system.

As for the powerplant, this SUV gets a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 523 bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission, with power being sent to all four wheels.
