Nardo Grey Mahindra Scorpio-N Running Orange Wheels Is An Eye-Catcher [Video]

You may have seen multiple modified Scorpio-Ns but today we will cover a Scorpio-N SUV which is uniquely modified. Looking at the car, we can say that only few such cars exist all over India. The car is showcased in a YouTube video uploaded by King Indian and the car is owned by Baba Jaani Vlogs. Now, let’s start with the details.

The most striking modification done to this SUV includes a Nardo grey wrap along with red colored 22-inch alloy wheels which provide a great contrast.

Other than this, the body is covered in custom decals. The host mentions that this car is modified according to the taste of the owner and not everyone may like it and we agree with it as everyone has their own taste.

The base car is a top model Scorpio-N Z8L diesel 4×4. The entire SUV is de chromed and the chrome elements are wrapped in satin black. The host adds that this is the first Scorpio-N in India which is wrapped in Nardo grey.

Proman branded spacers are also installed in this vehicle to give it a broader look. The owner of the car mentions that he is planning to install a lift kit very soon. Talking about the cost, the owner mentions that the Nardo grey wrap cost him Rs. 55,000.

This cost includes the body decals, de chrome and the racing stripes. Regarding the alloy wheels, he mentions that installing these was not a simple process and it required a lot of planning because the 22-inch alloy wheels were touching the fenders of the car. The alloy wheels cost him a whopping Rs. 5 lakh including the installation, spacers and the tires.

The host takes the car for a quick spin to check the handling of the car. A usual problem which is noticed when the wheels of a car are upsized is stiffness in steering wheel. The host while driving the car mentions that this car drives like it is stock. No additional weight can be felt on the steering wheel.

As the Scorpio-N features an electric steering wheel, the steering wheel is pretty light from the company itself but after upsizing the wheels, he feels that it has become even lighter. However, a small mileage drop of about 1 to 1.5 kmpl is noticed.

Even after upsizing, the car gives confidence on high speeds. The owner has touched speeds of up to 180 km/h after the modifications and he states that he felt no difference. Additionally, the car has to be driven carefully as the tires installed are low profile. If the car hits a pothole, there is a high chance of the alloys getting damaged with low profile tires.

The interior of the SUV is kept stock. The owner of the SUV adds that he has planned something amazing for the interior and it will be the first in India once again. The Scorpio-N sold in India is also available with a 2 liter-4 cylinder turbo petrol engine with 201 Bhp-370 Nm outputs. Like the diesel variants, the petrol trims get 6 speed manual and automatic gearbox options. However, only a rear wheel drive layout is on offer, and only the diesel trims get 4X4.
