Old Sikh Man And Wife Go On Ladakh Roadtrip In 73 Year-Old Vintage Fiat Topolino

Many people believe that once they get old, they might not be able to enjoy life. However, there are some people who show us that age is just a number. Recently, a video of an old Sikh man driving his 73-year-old Fiat Topolino convertible to Leh has been shared online. The old gentleman was accompanied by his family members in another car. The sight of this vintage car in the hills of Leh caught the attention of passersby, and an impromptu interview of the elderly uncle was taken on the side of the road.

The video of this unique adventure with a vintage Fiat convertible has been shared on YouTube by Jammu Samvad. The vlogger starts off the interview of the old Sikh gentleman on the side of the road. He starts by mentioning that they spotted this unique vintage car on the road and wanted to ask the owner about their journey.

Following this, he introduces Mr. Amarjeet, who is the owner of this particular Fiat convertible car. He then starts asking him about his journey and how he is feeling while enjoying his life. The owner then states that he is very happy. After this, the vlogger asks him about the details of this lovely car.

What is this car?

To this, the gentleman replies that this particular car is a 1951 Fiat Topolino convertible. He adds that he bought this car back in 1969, and it is 73 years old. After this, he states that he bought this car for a sum of Rs 3,750. The owner adds that at the time when he was young and unmarried, he had a Royal Enfield Bullet, which was bought for Rs 4,300.

However, after his wedding, he sold that bike and bought this car for Rs 3,750. The vlogger then asks him if the car runs on petrol or diesel. To this, the owner replies that at that time there were no diesel cars. He adds that even after 73 years, this particular car provides 20 kmpl mileage.

Following the history of the car, the vlogger then opens the door of the car to show the interior. This particular Fiat Topolino convertible came equipped with a suicide door, which today we see on cars from the British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce.

The vlogger shows the red and grey interior of this car. It can be noted that it came with a very unique steering wheel and dials on the center of the dashboard. The car is also a soft-top convertible, and the owner shows how simple it is to open and close the top.
