Demand for luxury cars has gone up in the last couple of decades in India. Even brands like Rolls Royce are doing well in our market. Not just Rolls Royce, but even brands like Bentley have a customer base in India. Mercedes-Benz and BMW cars are a common sight on our roads. Mercedes has also introduced the Maybach sedan and SUV in India for those who want something different from regular Mercedes models. V.S. Reddy, the managing director of one of the largest medical nutrition manufacturing companies in India, British Biologicals, also bought a brand-new Mercedes. He purchased the flagship Maybach S680 luxury sedan worth Rs 3.44 crore, ex-showroom.

The video has been shared by Sundaram Motors Bangalore on their YouTube channel. This is a Mercedes-Benz authorized dealership in Bengaluru, and they show the complete delivery in this video. We see Mr. Reddy getting out of his car after reaching the dealership. The video doesn’t show which car he arrived in.

Reddy was welcomed by the dealership staff, and we also see the Maybach completely covered and set for unveiling. The car was then unveiled, and the keys were handed over to Mr. Reddy at the end of the celebration. The staff even gave him a bouquet and hamper. The car was later driven out of the dealership by a staff member. It is not clear if it was V.S. Reddy who drove the car back or if he came with a driver.

The Mercedes-Maybach S680 is the flagship sedan from the German car manufacturer. The S680 is based on the current generation S-Class. Compared to the S-Class, the S680 gets a longer wheelbase. The increase in wheelbase is reflected in the cabin too. With a length of nearly 5.5 meters, the Maybach S680 is currently one of the longest cars available for sale in our market.

Other features offered in the S680 include electrically adjustable seats, rear seat entertainment screens, a recliner function for all seats, a massager function along with cooled and heated seats, and so on. Most of the functions in this car can be controlled from the rear seat.

The Centenary Edition was produced by the British automaker to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Production of this car is limited to 100 units, which makes it exclusive.

The Mulsanne EWB Centenary Edition is powered by a 6.75-liter V8 engine, which generates 506 horsepower and 1,020 Nm of torque. It comes with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h happens in just 5.5 seconds. This huge sedan has a top speed of 296 km/h.
