The first car on this list is none other than the highly anticipated Tata Motors’ Altroz Rwcer. The company is all set to launch the sportier version of its popular Altroz hatchback. This new model will be offered in three variants – R1, R2, and R3. The main highlight of this hatchback will be it’s 120 bhp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Altroz Racer will feature unique exterior colors including Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey. These colors will be accompanied by a contrasting black bonnet and roof. On the inside the company will be offering accents to match the exterior colors around the AC vents, center console, gearbox, and seat upholstery.

It will be offered with a ton of segment-first features such as a blind spot monitor, a 360-degree camera, and cooled seats. The R1 variant is well-equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and four additional airbags.

On the other hand the R2 and R3 variants will come with more luxury features like a powered sunroof, wireless charging, Tata’s connected car tech, ventilated front seats, and an air purifier.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Next up on the launch roster of this month is the Maruti Suzuki. The company is getting ready to unveil the fourth-generation Dzire. This sub-4-metre sedan will come packed with new features and styling updates.

The 2024 Dzire will become the first sedan in its segment to offer a single-pane sunroof and a 360-degree surround camera. Apart from these it will also boast a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A wireless charger, and connected car technology are also expected.

Powering the new Dzire will be the new 1.2-litre Z-Series NA petrol engine. It will come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT gearbox. The expected starting price will be slightly higher than the current model’s Rs 6.56 lakh.

Maruti Alto K10, S-Presso & Celerio Dream Editions

Maruti Suzuki in addition to the Dzire will also be launching the limited edition Dream Series of the Alto K10, S-Presso, and Celerio. These new models are being launched in order to lure in more buyers to the budget car segment.

These models will be priced starting at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). As per the company they will be available only in the month of June, with a potential extension based on customer response.

The Dream Series models will includes reverse parking sensors and an enhanced infotainment system compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This limited edition offers minor cosmetic upgrades and special badging, as well.

Nissan X-Trail

The Japanese automaker Nissan is gearing up to reintroduce it’s flagship SUV the X-Trail to the Indian market. It will be launched as a complete built unit (CBU). This 7-seater SUV will reportedly feature a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This motor is slated to generate a maximum power of 204 bhp and 305 Nm of torque, with a CVT gearbox.

Once launched it will be competing with the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tiguan and the Toyota Fortuner in India. The X-Trail will come equipped with sharp LED headlamps, a floating touchscreen infotainment system, an all-digital instrument console.

It will also get a heads-up display and a ton of other modern features. It has been reported that Nissan has chosen to launch only the petrol version in the Indian car market.
