Tata Nexon And Punch Are India’s Top 2 Selling SUVs For FY2024

Tata Motors is one of the leading car manufacturers in India. According to recent reports, the Tata Nexon and Punch are the top-selling SUVs from the manufacturer in FY2024. Both the Tata Nexon and Punch are extremely popular in the market and are commonly spotted on the roads.

The Tata Nexon is, in fact, the highest-selling SUV for Tata Motors. It was launched in the market seven years ago, and during this time, the manufacturer has sold more than 700,000 units of this SUV. It has been the best-selling SUV for Tata Motors for the last three years.

The Tata Nexon is currently available with petrol and diesel engine options. Tata is also offering an EV version of the Nexon, and a twin-cylinder CNG version of the Nexon will soon be introduced in the market.

The Tata Punch is the most affordable SUV in Tata’s lineup. It was launched in the market a couple of years ago. It quickly gained customer attention, and last year, the Punch was the second best-selling SUV from Tata. Tata is offering the Punch in petrol, iCNG, and EV forms.

Why are the Tata Nexon & Punch So Popular?

The price for the Nexon EV starts at Rs 14.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom.

The rise in demand for SUVs in the market is also a reason why the Punch and Nexon became the best sellers, even when Tata had affordable models like the Tiago and Tigor in the lineup.
