Recently, we came across a report where a Jawa Motorcycles authorized dealership had shut down without delivering the bikes to customers. The owners of the dealership brand had absconded with more than Rs 20 lakh that was collected from the customers. After this incident, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles took responsibility and came forward to resolve the issue. The brand has now delivered bikes to the six customers who had their money stuck with the dealer.

The manufacturer compensated for the issues faced by the customers by not only delivering the bikes but also offering them goodies such as riding jackets, helmets, bike covers, gloves, and other accessories. The company has currently delivered the bikes to six customers, and the rest of them will receive their bikes in the coming week. Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles also blacklisted K & K Motors in Bandra and filed an FIR against them. Even after registering an FIR, the Bandra police have not taken any action against the owners of the blacklisted dealership.

After the issues were raised by several media platforms, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles conducted a detailed investigation in this matter. They even sent a team from Delhi to Mumbai just for this purpose. Even the CEO of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, Ashish Singh Joshi, came to Mumbai for this internal inquiry. After the inquiry team thoroughly investigated the matter, they resolved the issue within a week.

One of the customers, Siddharth Menon, expressed his happiness after finally receiving his bike. He, along with many other customers, had booked the bike from the above-mentioned dealership. Siddharth had paid Rs 2.34 lakh to the dealership. The dealership kept giving him multiple excuses, including the bike getting damaged at the dealership and delays from the company in arranging parts for replacement.

As K & K Motors is blacklisted, the company sent the bikes to a Jawa dealership in Panvel. The dealership also apologized to the customer for the bad experience. Rakesh Mishra, a dentist from Juhu, also took delivery of his motorcycle from the Panvel dealership. Rakesh had previously mentioned that the dealer asked for Rs 1.5 lakh as a booking amount. He initially paid Rs 94,000, and after this payment, the dealership kept demanding the customer to pay the remaining amount of the bike, which the customer eventually paid.

Returning to the case, K&K Motors had scammed approximately 10 customers by collecting money for bikes but not delivering them. After some time, the dealership shut down its operation without any prior notice. When people realized that they were scammed, they raised their voice to concerned authorities and filed a complaint with the police. After a detailed investigation, Jawa released an official statement about the incident. Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said, “At Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, customers remain our top priority. We have demonstrated our unwavering dedication to our customers.” The Bandra police have registered an FIR against the owners of K K Motors—Gaurav (alias Rohan Nagda), Dipesh Nagda, and Deepa Nagda. Cops have not been able to locate them until now.
