Farmer carries produce in a Porsche Boxster: Says its too low compared to Mahindra Scorpio [Video]

Agriculture is one of the biggest sectors in India and most Indians are involved with farming. While most farmers live a very minimalistic life, there are a few who go-on to add a bit of lavishness. Here is a farmer from Haryana who owns a Porsche 718 Boxster and this video shows how she transports her produce in the sportscar.

The video shows the lady getting out of the Porsche Boxster’s driver seat. She then says in Haryanvi that one should wait for success and keep doing hard work to reach their goals. The video seems to be staged for the Instagram as there are many such similar reels in the same account.

There would not be many who would carry their produce, especially something like fodder in their expensive vehicles. Most farmers buy specialised vehicles like a tractor or maybe an expensive truck for such routine jobs as they are more practical and efficient to the farm jobs. The Porsche Boxster though is a sport car and will hold much less in its boot compared to any other regular car. It is built for driving and enjoy the power rather than carrying things around.

Porsche mentioned that 718 series cars were designed with everyday usability in mind. The power was also produced at slightly lower revs than the track-focused models, with the redline for the GTS engine being 200rpm lower than the GT4’s motor, topping out at 7,800rpm.

The engine came mated to either a 6-speed manual or Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox on both models. The torque output of the engine rose to 430Nm when paired with the PDK gearbox. Porsche claimed that the Cayman and Boxster GTS could both sprint from 0 to 100kph in 4.5sec – just one-tenth down on that of the Cayman GT4 and Spyder. Top-speed was pegged at 293kph. The engine also notably featured adaptive cylinder control, which can deactivate the cylinders when not required and increase the fuel efficiency.

Farmer own Rolls Royce

A few years ago a picture of a group of farmers from Maharashtra taking delivery of the Rolls Royce Ghost became viral. This is from  Kondhapuri, a small village near Pune in Maharashtra. Vijay Gaikwad is a pioneer in Organic Farming, a field that’s considered the future of agriculture in India. His journey stands as a beacon of inspiration, challenging the notion that farming is merely a modest profession.

Gaikwad’s success story revolves around his dedication to Organic Farming, which has not only brought him immense success but also afforded him the luxury of owning and maintaining a fleet of high-end cars including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Rolls-Royce.
