GMC Yukon Denali parked next to a Maruti Suzuki S-Presso: Shocking size difference

When it comes to the contrast between two countries, India and the United States of America can’t be any more apart. This is especially true when we compare the cars that are available in both countries. While Americans prefer massive trucks and SUVs, Indians love small and efficient hatchbacks. Recently, showing this exact difference, a picture of a GMC Yukon Denali SUV parked right next to a Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has been shared online. This picture highlights the huge difference between the presence of these two vehicles.

 

The picture of the GMC Yukon Denali’s size comparison with the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has been shared on Reddit. In this particular picture, a White GMC Yukon Denali full-size American SUV was parked right next to an Orange Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. On the left side of the picture, a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was also parked. Talking about the size difference between the Yukon Denali and the S-Presso, we can note that the American SUV dwarfs the S-Presso in every dimension. GMC Yukon Denali vs S-Presso: Dimensions

We can observe that the front wheel of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso starts at the front door of the Yukon Denali. Additionally, the height difference is also massive between these vehicles. Coming to the dimensions of the GMC Yukon Denali, its length measures at 5700 mm, width at 2045 mm, height at 1890 mm, and its wheelbase is a generous 3302 mm. Meanwhile, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, on the other hand, measures 3565 mm in length, 1520 mm in width, 1567 in height, and lastly, it has a wheelbase of 2380 mm.

Apart from this, we can also note that the GMC Yukon Denali also dwarfs the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport as well. The Pajero Sport is considered a full-size SUV in India, and from this picture, it seems small when compared to the Yukon Denali. Generally, most of the full-size American SUVs are massive, and they can dwarf any Indian vehicle. 2023 GMC Yukon Denali

For those who may not be aware, the Yukon XL Denali is the largest SUV offered by the American carmaker GMC (General Motors Truck Company). It is based on the same chassis as the other popular full-size luxury SUV, the Cadillac Escalade. The GMC Yukon XL Denali comes powered by a massive 6.2-litre V8 engine that makes around 420 bhp of power and 624 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and it also gets a 4X4 system as well.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

As for the powertrain of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, it comes equipped with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder K10C Dualjet petrol engine. This small but efficient engine is capable of producing 66 PS of maximum power and 90 Nm of maximum torque. The recently launched S-Presso Xtra edition comes with both the transmission options of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The company also offers the S-Presso with a CNG drivetrain option, which makes 57 PS of maximum power and 82 Nm of maximum torque and comes only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
