Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 sportsbike deliveries commence in India

The country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, earlier in September, launched the Karizma XMR 210 in the country. The model quickly became popular in the country, and the company received a whopping 13,000 reservations for the sportsbike. Now, recently, the company has commenced the deliveries of the Karizma XMR 210, and pictures of deliveries are surfacing online.

Hero MotoCorp launched the all-new Karizma XMR 210 with a starting price of Rs 1.72 lakh in India. However, this was the introductory pricing for the motorcycle, and now this price has been bumped up to Rs 1.79 lakh. Currently, the company has also halted the reservations for this iconic name-bearing motorcycle, and it will resume soon. Details on the new booking window will be revealed in the coming period.

Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210

The all-new Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 made its much-anticipated debut with the familiar face of the Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. The actor drove the motorcycle on stage during the launch event. For those unaware, Hrithik Roshan was also the brand ambassador for the original Karizma R. The Karizma XMR 210 continues the lineage of the same iconic name that has been extremely popular in the Indian bike market for decades now.

Design and features

For the 2023 model year, the company has built a brand-new bike from scratch. In terms of design details of the Hero Karizma XMR 210, the premium sports bike gets an all-new, much more aggressive and bold design than its last predecessor. On the front, it features an all-new front fascia with distinct-looking all-LED headlights with integrated DRLs in them. The bike also gets LED turn indicators as well. It also comes with an aggressive fairing and a huge XMR logo on the side. The new Karizma XMR sits on a steel trellis frame.

The new Karizma XMR is offered in three different color options. The first is the Iconic Yellow, the second is the Turbo Red, and the last option is the Matte Phantom Black. Meanwhile, the list of features on the new 2023 bike includes a full digital LCD display, which also comes with features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, which is a segment first, and also a segment-first adjustable windscreen.

Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 mechanical specifications

As for the powerplant featured in the new Karizma XMR 210, the flagship Hero MotoCorp sportsbike comes equipped with a brand new 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled power plant. It is the first-ever bike from Hero MotoCorp to get a liquid-cooled engine. This new engine produces a maximum of 25.15 bhp of power and 20.4 Nm of torque. As for the transmission duties, they are handled by a six-speed gearbox.

Apart from the new engine, the bike, in order to offer a comfortable riding experience, gets a telescopic fork suspension on the front. Meanwhile, for the rear suspension, it comes equipped with a preloaded adjustable monoshock absorber. Additionally, the braking is taken care of by single disc brakes on both the front and rear of the bike. The Karizma XMR 210 is the first Hero MotoCorp bike to feature a dual-channel ABS system.
