Honda Elevate sales hit 20,000 mark in just 100 days

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has proudly announced that its latest mid-size SUV, the Honda Elevate, has achieved an impressive sales milestone of 20,000 units within just 100 days of its launch in September 2023. The Elevate has quickly established itself in the competitive SUV market, capturing significant market share and contributing to a remarkable 11% growth in HCIL’s sales from September to November compared to the same period last year.

Yuichi Murata, Director of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to witness the remarkable success of the Honda Elevate, which has surpassed our expectations. The 20,000 sales milestone of Elevate in the first 100 days of launch is a proud moment for us and reflects the trust and preference of our valued customers, making us a notable contender in the industry.”

Designed with the concept of ‘Urban Freestyler,’ the Honda Elevate features a bold and masculine design, equipped with a powerful 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine paired with 6-speed MT and 7-speed CVT automatic transmissions. The SUV offers an introductory price ranging from INR 10,99,900 to INR 15,99,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top variant, with these special prices valid until the end of this month.

The Elevate has played a pivotal role in HCIL’s recent success, accounting for over 50% of the total sales in the last three months. The model has not only met but exceeded expectations, solidifying Honda’s position in the highly competitive automotive market. The company has strategically maximized the production of the Elevate to meet the high demand and has adjusted the variant mix to align with the market preferences, particularly the strong demand for CVT variants.

The Honda Elevate stands out with its spacious interior, offering a top-class wheelbase, ample headroom, knee room, legroom, and a class-leading cargo area. Advanced safety features, including ADAS technology of Honda Sensing, contribute to a stress-free and secure driving experience. With dimensions of 4312mm length, 1790mm width, 1650mm height, 2650mm wheelbase, and a top-class ground clearance of 220 mm, the Elevate combines style and practicality seamlessly.

Honda has made the Elevate available at an attractive introductory price, offering customers a wide range of choices, including the convenience of a CVT automatic in three of its four grades. The company aims to capitalize on the success of the Elevate not only in the domestic market but also as an important export product. India is the first country to manufacture and sell the Elevate globally, aligning with Honda’s strategy to make India a significant export hub for this popular SUV model.
