The South Korean automotive giant, Hyundai Motor India, is gearing up to introduce the Adventure Editions of its popular models, the Creta and Alcazar. Both SUVs will boast a brand-new ‘Ranger Khaki’ color option, featuring a dual-tone finish with a contrasting black roof.

To add to the stylish appearance, Hyundai is implementing a blacked-out treatment for several exterior elements, including the front and rear bumper garnishes, roof rails, wing mirrors, and alloy wheels. This striking combination will undoubtedly set the Adventure Editions apart from their standard counterparts. Emphasizing the exclusivity of these editions, the Adventure Editions will come adorned with distinctive Adventure Edition badges. These badges will serve as a mark of distinction, letting onlookers know that they are witnessing a special version of the popular SUVs.

Moving on to the interior side of things, these forthcoming Adventure Edition vehicles will come equipped with all-black interiors. This premium finish will be complemented by contrast stitching on the upholstery, creating a sense of elegance and adventure within the cabin. Moreover, the Adventure Edition insignias will be prominently placed on the seat headrests and door sills, further reinforcing the uniqueness of these limited editions.

While the Adventure Editions may boast a slew of visual upgrades, Hyundai has decided to keep the mechanical aspects untouched. As a result, the Creta Adventure Edition will continue to be powered by its reliable 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines, while the Alcazar Adventure Edition will feature the efficient 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and diesel engines. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available, catering to the preferences of different buyers.

The highly anticipated Adventure Editions are expected to be launched towards the end of August or early September. Given the additional cosmetic enhancements and exclusive badges, these editions are likely to be priced at a slight premium over their respective regular trims. However, the additional appeal and uniqueness are sure to justify the slightly higher price tag.

In other Creta news, the company is working on the facelift of the model, and recently a small clip of the 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift test mule driving around NATRAX was shared on YouTube. The car was completely covered in black camouflage, but it was easily recognized as the updated iteration of the highly popular mid-size SUV.

The spy video of the test mule revealed that the 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift will come with several exciting exterior design changes. Although the vehicle was cloaked in black sheets, discerning eyes spotted some noteworthy upgrades. One of the most noticeable changes will be the introduction of a new dual-tone alloy wheel design. While the front fascia remains largely covered, industry insiders suggest that the Indian variant will feature the brand’s distinctive new parametric jewel pattern grille and vertically stacked LED headlamps on the bumper, similar to its global counterpart.

In terms of powertrain options, reports have stated that the company will carry over the reliable and efficient 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines from the current Creta model to the 2024 facelifted version. It is expected that the more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which has already been well-received in the new Hyundai Verna, will also be offered in the forthcoming 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift. As for transmission options, the upcoming model will most likely be offered in manual, automatic (CVT), automatic (DCT), and automatic transmission.
