Hyundai has launched a new variant of its popular hatchback, the Grand i10 Nios, called the Corporate Edition. This new version is specifically designed with new features and enhancements over the standard magna trim of the Grand i10 Nios.

Engine and transmission

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition is equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is available with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic manual transmission (AMT). Talking about the power figures, this engine delivers 83PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. The power figures and engine is same as the regular Grand i10. One important thing to note is that Grand i10 Corporate Edition is not offered with CNG.

Visual differences

Externally, the Corporate Edition comes with some striking aesthetic modifications when compared to the Grand i10 Nios Magna variant, on which it’s based.

The car features 15-inch steel wheels with dual-tone covers that make it look like it has alloy wheels at a glance. The front of the car comes with with a black radiator grille, and the body-colored door handles and ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors). The overall look of the car is enhanced by the LED taillamps and LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), which help in night time visibility.

Additionally, the Corporate Edition comes with a ‘Corporate’ symbol on the tailgate distinguishing it from the regular i10 Nios. The car is available in seven monotone colors, including Atlas White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Teal Blue, Fiery Red, Spark Green, and the newly introduced Amazon Grey.

2024 Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition Tech and Features

Similar to the regular i10 Nios, the cabin of the Corporate Edition boasts a dual-tone grey interior. It includes several features for comfort and convenience such as height adjustment for the driver’s seat, footwell lighting, and a front room lamp. It comes with numerous practical features as well such as front passenger seat back pocket, USB charging port, 12V socket, multiple bottle holders and cup holders.

Tech wise, it comes with features such as a 3.5-inch speedometer with multi-information display and a 6.7-inch touch screen infotainment system which can be controlled by steering mounted controls. The infotainment system is paired with a 4-speaker system.

Safety Features Explained

Safety is a priority in the Corporate Edition, which is equipped with dual airbags, seat belt reminders, a day and night inside rear-view mirror (IRVM), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution, central locking, impact detecting door unlock feature and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Price

Talking about the price, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition is priced at Rs 6.93 lakh for the manual transmission variant and Rs 7.58 lakh for the automatic variant. On the other hand, the Magna variant of i10 Nios on which the corporate edition is based is priced at Rs. 6.78 lakhs for the manual and Rs. 7.43 lakhs for the AMT version.

This translates to a price difference of Rs. 15,000 between both the variants. In the Indian market, Grand i10 Nios competes with other popular hatchbacks such as Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Tata Tiago.

Buying Advice

The Grand i10 Nios is a well rounded hatchback that’s peppy, fuel efficient and feature-rich. The Corporate Edition variant fantastic value, and is a great buy for value-seekers. Essentially, this variant of the Grand i10 Nios offers everything that a buyer would need for a comfortable, safe and convenient drive.
