Old Hyundai Santro Converted Into A Swimming Pool [Video]

India is a fascinating country, and the people living in it are equally fascinating. Recently, showing how creative Indian people can get to beat the scorching sun, a video has been shared online. In this video, three friends can be seen chilling inside a Hyundai Santro. However, the funny and creative part is that they have converted this hatchback into a swimming pool. Yes, you heard that right. They have added water inside this Santro.

Hyundai Santro Swimming Pool

The video of this creative way to beat summer heat has been shared on Instagram. It comes courtesy of the Losers Army. They are a group of friends that share videos of modifications and experiments on their channels. In this most recent video, they have converted the interior of their Santro into a swimming pool.

It starts with the cameraman showing the seemingly normal Hyundai Santro from the outside. However, as the cameraman moves closer to the car, it can be noted that three friends were sitting inside it, and they were half submerged in water.

Following this, the three friends start chanting a meme that recently went viral on social media platforms. We can also observe that these friends were enjoying soft drinks and snacks while sitting in the water-filled Santro.

How did they do this?

From what we can see, it can be noted that they have removed the front passenger and rear seats. After this, they have added a thick blue tarpaulin sheet. This sheet is generally used on top of tents as it is a very strong material, and water cannot pass through it.

Most likely, the car still has its drivability intact. This is because these friends have not removed the driver’s seat. We can also see that the steering wheel, dashboard, and other essential equipment have been covered.

Not the first unique swimming pool

Back in May of last year, one of India’s biggest YouTubers, Mr. Indian Hacker, did something similar. The YouTuber shared a video in which he, along with his friends, created a massive swimming pool in a truck.

They rented a truck with a huge dumper and added two very thick sheets of tarpaulin. After this, they filled it using two tractor water tankers. After filling the truck, they even took it on the road. During this, huge waves were produced. After this, he added another tanker of water and completely filled it.

Maruti 800 Swimming Pool

A while ago, another popular YouTuber created a swimming pool inside a Maruti Suzuki 800 hatchback. In this video, the YouTuber did the same thing. The complete interior of this hatchback was removed, and tarpaulin was added.

Following this, he, along with his friend, filled it with buckets of water from a small stream. During the filling process, the suspension and the tires of this hatchback were seen being pushed down.

This was happening as the weight of the water became excessive. It was then noted in the video that this particular car was not completely sealed and watertight. Hence, there was water leaking from underneath the car.
