Hyundai Venue Knight Edition walkaround

After the successful run of the Creta Knight Edition, Hyundai has introduced the new Venue Knight Edition, which, like its predecessor, incorporates a range of darkened elements to enhance its aesthetics. This edition will be available in S(O), SX, and SX(O) variants and offers color options in Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and Fiery Red with Abyss Black roof.

We discovered a YouTube video by “Yash9w” that provides a comprehensive walkaround of the exterior and interior of the mid-spec SX variant of the new Hyundai Venue Knight Edition in Abyss Black.

The YouTube video starts with a focus on the exterior of the compact SUV. The Knight Edition is characterized by its darkened elements, which complement the Abyss Black color scheme showcased in the video. Up front, the rectangular inserts in the grille and bumper corners feature a dark chrome theme. Additionally, the Venue Knight Edition SX boasts LED projector headlamps within squared-out housings, complete with daytime running LEDs.

Moving to the side profile, the Venue Knight Edition SX sports gloss black treatments for the 15-inch wheel caps and roof rails. It also features red-colored brake callipers, a shark fin antenna, and rearview mirrors with integrated turn indicators. At the rear, apart from the ‘Knight Edition’ badge, there are no significant changes, and the Venue Knight Edition SX retains its LED tail lamps.

Cabin updates

Inside, the new Hyundai Venue Knight Edition SX departs from the usual dual-tone black and beige layout in favor of an all-black theme with brass-colored interior accents. These brass highlights can be seen on the seats, around the AC vents, and on the push start-stop button. This particular variant is equipped with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, push start-stop button, automatic climate control, dashcam, rear AC vents, and a sunroof.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Venue Knight Edition SX is powered by the 1.2-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine produces 83 PS of maximum power and 114 Nm of maximum torque. The 1.0-liter 120 PS turbocharged petrol engine with the options of a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT is reserved for the top-spec Venue Knight Edition SX(O). The Venue Knight Edition SX is currently available for Rs 11.26 lakh for the single-tone variant and Rs 11.41 lakh for the dual-tone color options (both prices ex-showroom, India).
