Starting from the front, this Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, equipped with the Wald Black Bison kit, features a distinct grille adorned in an all-black theme with diagonal spikes on both upper and lower sections. The sole visual modification on the side profile of this customized Land Cruiser LC300, compared to its stock version, is the installation of larger machined alloy wheels sporting a turbine-like design and wrapped in low-profile tires. Towards the rear, this customized Land Cruiser LC300 features a sporty roof spoiler, an additional spoiler beneath the windscreen, and a substantial rear diffuser adorned with evenly spaced vertical spikes at the bottom. The Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 was introduced in India shortly after the Auto Expo 2023, priced at Rs 2.10 crore. This SUV enters India through the CBU route, available in a single fully-loaded ZX variant, featuring a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 diesel engine. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this diesel powerplant generates a robust 304 bhp of maximum power and an impressive peak torque output of 700 Nm.

Is it legal?

According to Act 52, “It is prohibited for any motor vehicle owner to modify the vehicle in a way that the information stated in the registration certificate differs from the original specifications provided by the manufacturer.”

In simpler terms, this implies that the fundamental shape and structure of the vehicle must remain unchanged and unaltered. This prohibition extends to the engine as well, disallowing modifications aimed at enhancing power, performance, or exhaust sound.

Every car introduced to the market in India undergoes a range of comprehensive tests, spanning diverse parameters including safety. When we, as enthusiasts, make alterations to our vehicles, we inadvertently jeopardize these standards. This jeopardization encompasses the safety of occupants within the vehicle, as well as the safety of others sharing the road.
