List Of All Cars That Will Launch In 2024: From Tata Currv To 5 Door Mahindra Thar

The upcoming year of 2024 will be filled with several new car launches from prominent carmakers of the country. Auto giants like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra, and others will be launching a number of new models. Tata Curvv

In the last few months, the sightings of the Tata Curvv test mule have become very frequent. This will be the brand’s most unique offering in India with a coupe-like SUV design. It will be based on Tata’s Gen-2 architecture and will use a modified Nexon X1 platform. According to reports, the Curvv EV has been confirmed to offer 500 km of driving range. As for the launch date, it is believed that the company could be launching this SUV in April of next year.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors next year will be launching the electrified version of its popular mid-size SUV, Harrier. The company has not revealed specific details about its powertrain, but it has been reported that it could come equipped with a dual electric motor setup, which will enable all-wheel drive. The Harrier EV could be offered with a real-world range of 400-500 km with a 60 kWh battery pack.

Mahindra XUV.e8

For those who may not be aware, in order to take on the likes of the Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra is gearing up to launch the XUV.e8. It will be an all-electric iteration of the XUV700 and will come equipped with an 80 kWh battery pack and an all-wheel-drive configuration with a dual-motor setup. According to reports, this powertrain will be able to generate a maximum of 230 PS and 350 Nm of torque.

Mahindra Thar five-door

One of the most anticipated models from Mahindra will be the upcoming Thar five-door. This new SUV will get a bigger wheelbase and will get an additional row of seats in the middle with two extra doors. The company will most likely be launching this SUV next year in the first quarter.

XUV300 and XUV400 facelift

According to reports, around the month of March next year, Mahindra could be launching the XUV300 and XUV400 facelifts. Test mules of both of these SUVs are being spotted on multiple occasions. The test mules have revealed that the cars will come equipped with a brand new front fascia, rear-end design, and a brand new interior. Powertrains will most likely remain the same as the outgoing models.

Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire Hybrid

The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki will also be officially launching the long-awaited Swift and Dzire hybrid cars. The Swift hybrid was recently unveiled in Japan, and next year most likely it will be launched in India. The car will get an extensively redesigned exterior and interior and will get a new hybrid powertrain. Soon after the launch of the Swift Hybrid, the company will also launch the Dzire hybrid as well.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Maruti Suzuki will also be launching their first-ever fully-electric vehicle, which will be the eVX next year. This new SUV is being jointly developed by Maruti Suzuki and Toyota. It has been reported that the company will be offering a 60 kWh battery pack, which will be able to do around 550 km in a single full charge. At the moment, the exact launch dates have not been revealed by the brand.

Hyundai Santa Fe

In an attempt to take on the Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai India is gearing up for the launch of its flagship SUV Santa Fe. The new Santa Fe looks inspired by Exter and will get a unique boxy design. It will likely be offered with a 2.5L turbo-petrol engine that will be able to generate around 277 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque. At the moment, the exact launch dates have not been revealed.

Nissan X-Trail

The Japanese automaker Nissan, just like Hyundai, is also eyeing to take on the Toyota Fortuner with its flagship SUV, the X-Trail. Just a few days ago, an undisguised test mule of this SUV was spotted testing in the country. This Fortuner rivaling SUV is slated to come equipped with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid powertrain.

Force Gurkha five-door

Back in October of this year, an undisguised test mule of the Force Gurkha was spotted testing in the country. Most likely, the new car will be launched in the first quarter. The five-door version of the Force Gurkha will also get the same Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre four-litre diesel engine, which comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the four-wheel-drive system as standard. This engine develops 90 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of maximum torque.
