How has Scorpio managed to beat every other SUV?

There are a few different reasons as to why the Mahindra Scorpio was able to outsell all of the other SUVs in the Indian car market. Here are those reasons.

Lots of bookings for the Scorpio-N

The Mahindra Scorpio-N currently has around 1 lakh bookings, and the company is pumping out as many cars as it can. This, in turn, has resulted in the increase of sales figures in the country for this SUV.

Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N numbers mixed

As mentioned above, the company has not released individual sales figures for the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N. The company has clubbed the sales tallies of both SUVs and has presented them.

Multiple options for models, variants, and engines

As the company offers both the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N in its lineup, the choices become extensive for customers. There are a number of different variants, engine, and transmission options between the two models so no customer gets turned down, and there is a Scorpio for every type of buyer.

The bigger dimensions and road presence

The Scorpio is especially more popular in India because of its aggressive and macho looks. The SUV has a very bold street presence and it looks apart on the road. This is one of the reasons why it has gained popularity over the mid-size SUV segment cars in general. Not to mention that the name Scorpio in itself has become a brand.

Safety of Scorpio-N
