Upcoming Mahindra XUV.E9 And BE.05 Electric SUVs Spotted Testing

Mahindra is working really hard on making a new electric car called the XUV.e9 SUV. This car will be their top electric SUV and part of a new group of electric cars that use the INGLO plan. Some spied photos of this new car recently came out online. The car was covered up in camouflage, but we could see some details about it.

The test car spotted by Bunny Punia still has temporary lights, but we can guess what the real ones will look like. The car has a closed out front because it runs on electricity. This new XUV.e9 only fits five people, but it’s going to be really fancy to look at because of its overall design.

The XUV.e9 is a sportier version of the popular XUV700. It looks different from the regular one, with a tough style and a strong front part. There’s a special light that goes across the front, making it look cooler.

Inside the car, we’ve seen some pictures of the dashboard and driver’s area. It looks a lot like the XUV.e8 that we saw a little while ago. The best thing inside is a big digital screen that goes all the way across the front. There are three smaller screens inside this big one. One shows things like speed, one is for entertainment, and the other helps control fun stuff in the car.

We don’t know all the details about how this car will work, but it might use the same engine and battery as the XUV.e8. People think it might have an 80kWh battery and two motors, making it able to drive with all the wheels. When it comes out, it will compete with other electric cars like the BYD Atto 3, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and the new Tata Harrier EV.

Mahindra BE.05 also spotted

Mahindra first talked about this new electric car, the BE.05, in August 2022. It was one of the first cars in their new electric range. Test cars started showing up in India in July of this year. The first one looked a bit different from the concept car because they changed some things to make it ready to sell. This car will probably be in stores by 2025.

The BE.05 is made using Mahindra’s new INGLO EV platform. This will also be used for their other new electric cars. We don’t know exactly how the BE.05 will work, but we do know that it will use a special battery pack that can charge fast. The battery can be between 60 to 80 kWh and can charge up to 80% in less than 30 minutes, depending on the model. Mahindra thinks that the 80 kWh battery will let the car drive about 435 km to 450 km without needing to charge, using a test cycle.

Mahindra, the company making the upcoming BE.05 car, also showed a special version called the BE.05 Rall-E. This car is made for really tough off-road adventures. The Rall-E version looks meaner and stronger compared to the regular BE.05.

They also said that the Rall-E will have strong frames around the seats inside and a special dash that’s made of many pieces and made stronger. The electric SUV will have a special system called Radar-1 Vision ADAS and might be able to drive a bit by itself using L2+ autonomy. When it comes to how it moves, it’ll probably use the same things as the regular BE.05.
