The AMT version of the Fronx is priced at Rs 9.43 lakh, ex-showroom. Both the manual and AMT variants of the Fronx are Rs 15,000 more expensive than the regular Delta+ variants.

For the additional Rs 15,000, the customer gets six airbags and a tyre repair kit with the Fronx. Other than this, the Fronx Delta+(O) variant offers all the features of the regular Delta+ variant. It includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, ESC, rear parking sensors, and more.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is available with two petrol engine options. There is a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 88.7 Bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine option is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. This is the engine offered with the newly introduced Delta+(O) variant.

Additionally, Maruti is offering a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine. This is the same engine that was once offered with the Baleno RS. The engine is now BS6 compliant and generates 98 Bhp and 148 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Maruti Suzuki launched the Baleno-based Fronx at the Auto Expo last year. The crossover design of the Fronx appealed to many customers. In fact, it is currently the best-selling SUV Maruti sells via Nexa dealerships. Maruti has sold over 1.35 lakh units of the Fronx from Nexa dealerships since its launch.

SUV Styling

The Fronx gets styling inspired by the Grand Vitara. Many even call it the Baby Grand Vitara for this reason. The rugged-looking exterior design offers a dominating presence on the road, which is something many car buyers are looking for in their vehicles.

Price

Like all other Maruti models, the Fronx is priced competitively. The price for the Fronx starts at Rs 7.51 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 13.04 lakh, ex-showroom. This is much less than other sub-4 meter SUVs in the segment.

Features

For a Maruti, the Fronx is fairly loaded with features. It includes a touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, HUD, automatic climate control, and more. Customers looking for a new sub-4 meter SUV view the Fronx as a value-for-money product.

Additionally, Maruti has built a brand value and trust among customers. The reliability, wide dealership and service network across the country, along with fuel efficiency, played a crucial role in the Fronx’s success. In future, Maruti will be introducing a hybrid technology
