Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, and his family own several expensive and exotic cars. We often come across new videos of the billionaire businessman and his family traveling in Mumbai. Due to security reasons, the businessman and his family often travel in a convoy. One such video of a convoy recently surfaced online, showing two Rolls Royce Cullinan luxury SUVs along with other security vehicles worth crores on the road.
The video was shared by Carcrazy India on their Instagram page and was shot at night in Mumbai. In the video, we see a Mahindra Scorpio in the front, with security officers in the car waving at other road users to maintain a distance from the vehicles. Just behind the Scorpio is a Mercedes G63 AMG SUV worth 3 crores.
Behind the Mercedes, we see the first Rolls Royce Cullinan. As the video was shot at night, the color of the Cullinan is not clear, but it looks like the recently bought Black Badge Cullinan in a red/orange shade. Behind that, we have another G63 AMG and a Range Rover Discovery. The second Rolls Royce Cullinan was right behind the Discovery, looking like the Cullinan which got a paint job worth over a crore.
Behind the second Rolls Royce, we see a lineup of security vehicles, including cars like the Range Rover Discovery, MG Gloster, Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV, Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra XUV500, and a previous generation Range Rover Vogue. All the security vehicles had strobe lights and beacons on them.
The video was posted online with the caption, “The convoys from #jiogarage are always good to watch, here they are rolling in their Rolls Royce Cullinans escorted by the GWagens.” Below this video, we also found a few interesting comments. One user wrote, “I am not in the traffic jam, I am the traffic jam.” Another social media user wrote, “Why is everyone unnecessarily on high beam?” Some of them were surprised to see the Range Rovers and V-Class in the convoy along with the G63 AMG.
The security team is offered expensive cars like the ones seen in the video to keep up with the Ambanis. The Ambani family members often travel in expensive cars that are fast; however, the security personnel who use vehicles like the Mahindra Bolero are not very fast and are not loaded with features.
This affects the speed at which the convoy moves. In order to resolve this issue, the Ambanis buy expensive cars for their security officers so they all can stay together while cruising through highways or in the city.
Ambanis and their love for expensive cars are not something that people are unaware of. Even today, we have no clarity on the exact number of cars owned by the family.
