10 New Maruti Cars Launching Soon

The ongoing year of 2024 and the upcoming years of 2025, 2026, and more will be jam-packed with new car launches from Maruti Suzuki India Limited. The Indo-Japanese automaker has 10 new vehicles planned for the upcoming years, and this is the list of all of those vehicles. So without any further ado, let’s jump right into the list of all the new cars coming from Maruti Suzuki.

All-new Swift

First and foremost, the company will be launching the all-new fourth generation of its immensely popular hatchback Swift in India. The new model will get an extensively redesigned exterior and interior. It will also get an all-new 1.2-litre Z-Series 3-cylinder petrol engine, which will also get a strong hybrid system. Most likely, it will be launched in April of this year.

All-new Dzire

Following the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, the company will take the covers off of the new Dzire sub-compact sedan as well. This new model will also boast a much more premium-looking exterior as well as interior. The powertrain will remain the same as the new Swift. Reportedly, it will become the first sub-compact sedan in the country to come equipped with a single-pane electric sunroof. The launch will take place a few months after the new fourth generation Swift.

Fronx Hybrid

Maruti Suzuki’s most unique offering, the crossover Fronx, has already become a huge success in the Indian market. And to give a boost to its popularity, the company is planning to launch a hybrid version of this crossover. According to reports, it will be getting the brand’s new HEV series hybrid system in which the engine will act as a generator to charge the battery pack. The propulsion of the vehicle will be done by the electric motors and not the ICE engine.

Baleno Facelift

Apart from the new Fronx, the company is also working on the development of the facelift for its popular premium hatchback Baleno. At the moment, the exact date of launch for the new Baleno facelift has not been shared. However, most likely the company will be launching it towards the festive season of this year. Reportedly, it will come equipped with the outgoing powertrain.

Grand Vitara 7-seater

Towards the end of 2024, Maruti Suzuki will be launching the seven-seater version of its popular mid-size SUV Grand Vitara. Internally codenamed as the Y17, the new Grand Vitara seven-seater will share its design and powertrain along with other underpinnings with the outgoing five-seat hybrid SUV. Toyota will also be launching the new seven-seater version of its Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which will be similar to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara seven-seater.

New Micro SUV

It has been reported that the company is also working on the development of a brand-new micro SUV as well. Once launched, the micro SUV will be competing with the likes of the Tata Punch and Citroen C3 in India. At the moment, not much is known about this vehicle’s design and powertrain. Also, the exact launch timeline for this vehicle has also not been revealed.

New Micro MPV based on Spacia

Internally codenamed as YDB, the upcoming MPV from Maruti based on Spacia is expected to be launched in 2026. It is believed that the India-spec version of the Spacia-based MPV will also be stretched to make more room for occupants. As for the powertrain, it is believed that it will come powered by the same 1.2-liter Z-Series petrol engine, which will be introduced in the next-generation Swift.

New full-size MPV

Apart from the micro MPV based on the new Spacia, Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch a new full-size MPV. Most likely it will either replace the Ertiga or will sit above it and below the Invicto in the Maruti lineup. At the moment, not much is known about this MPV. However, being a full-size model, most likely it will come loaded with all the bells and whistles to make it more premium.

New SUV to rival XUV700

In addition to the launch of the seven-seater Grand Vitara, the company is reportedly also working on the development of a new Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari rival. Most likely it will be a hybrid SUV and will get a bold and aggressive styling to match the road presence of the XUV700 and Safari in India. Presently the launch timeline for this new SUV has not been revealed.

New sub-4m SUV

The company is also looking to launch a new sub-4m SUV in India. At the moment, it has not been revealed if it will be replacing the Brezza or will be launched as an additional model. Most likely it will also be launched in late 2025 or in the first few months of 2026.
