Maruti has just launched the all-new Swift in the Indian market. The price for the all-new Swift starts at Rs 6.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 9.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The production for the new Swift has already started, and the car has also reached several dealerships across the nation. Deliveries for the new Swift will start soon. While we have seen videos and images of the higher versions of the Swift, here we have a video that shows what the base LXi variant of the new Swift looks like.

The video has been shared by DSD Cars on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger shows a Swift LXi variant parked at a dealer stockyard. The base variant of the Swift comes with blacked-out headlamps with projector halogen lights in it. The LED DRL is not offered in this variant; instead, you get a boomerang-shaped chrome insert.

The halogen turn indicators are placed right below it. The front grille of the Swift gets a gloss black finish, and the car also comes with black inserts in the fog lamp area. The turn indicators are placed on the fenders, and the ORVMs are finished in matte black. The car comes with steel rims, and the door handles are not body-colored.

At the rear, the car gets LED taillamps with C-shaped elements in them. There is Swift branding on the tailgate, and other than that, we see four parking sensors on the bumper. The LXi variant does not offer a rear defogger, windscreen wiper, and washer.

The video then shows the interior of the Swift. The car looks basic from inside. It gets manual ORVMs, four power windows, a basic flat-bottom steering wheel, an analog instrument cluster with MID in the center.

There is no touchscreen infotainment system and speakers available with the base variant. The seats are covered in black-colored fabric upholstery. There is a 12V socket and provisions for installing additional accessories like touchscreen and a wireless phone charger.

The AC knobs on the base variant get a digital display. It is a manual AC; however, the design gives it a premium look and makes it look like an automatic climate control. Features like 6 airbags, ABS, seat belt reminders, 3-spointer seat belt for all passengers are offered as standard.

The base LXi variant seen here in the video is finished in a white shade. A total of 9 color options including three dual-tone shades are available. The base LXi variant can be bought in Sizzling Red, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, and Pearl Arctic White shades. Maruti is also offering several accessory packs with the new Swift for those who want to improve the overall looks of the car. The car is available with a brand new Z-Series engine.

The 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder engine generates 82 Bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. The base variant is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission. All variants other than the base LXi are offered with both manual and AMT gearbox options. Maruti Suzuki Swift has been in the market since 2005, and over the years, this premium hatchback has managed to capture the heart of both enthusiasts and family car buyers.
