Nissan Magnite AMT and Kuro variants launched: Prices start from Rs 6.49 and Rs 8.27 lakh

After recently unveiling its new models, Nissan Motor India has finally launched the Magnite Kuro Edition and the Magnite EZ-Shift AMT models in India. The company has launched the Magnite Kuro Edition with a starting price of Rs 8.27 lakh, and it goes all the way up to Rs 10.46 lakh. Additionally, the company has also launched the new Magnite EZ-Shift AMT models with a starting price of Rs 6.5 lakh. Bookings for both models have already commenced.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Pricing

Nissan has launched the new Magnite Kuro Edition with all of the top-spec trims of its model. The Magnite Kuro Edition comes available with the XV MT naturally aspirated engine and has been priced at Rs 8.27 lakh. This is a premium of over Rs 46,000 over the standard model. Next up on the lineup is the XV Turbo MT model, which comes with a turbocharged engine. This model has been priced at Rs 9.65 lakh, which also has a premium of over Rs 46,000. Lastly, the Kuro Edition model is also being offered with the XV Turbo CVT variant as well and has been priced at Rs 10.46 lakh. This model also commands a premium of Rs 46,000.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Details

As for the changes, the all-new Nissan Magnite Kuro comes with an all-black color option for the exterior. It also gets black treatment all around the grille, ORVMs, front and rear skid plates. Additionally, the car also gets smoked LED headlamps, black alloy wheels with red brake calipers, and a Kuro badging under the ORVMs.

Moving on to the changes on the inside, the Magnite Kuro Edition comes equipped with an all-black interior like before but now gets its interior instrument panel with a patterned film & gloss black end finisher. Additionally, the car also gets black interior accents and black door trim inserts. In terms of feature upgrades, it gets a new 360-degree Around View Monitor (AVM), a center console armrest with rear AC vents, KURO themed floor mats, wireless charger, and a wider IRVM.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Powertrain

As for the powertrain side of things, the new Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition gets the already available engine options. These include a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which produces 72PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the other option is a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes around 100PS of power and 160 Nm of torque. In terms of transmission, the turbo-petrol engine gets a 5-speed manual as well as a CVT option. The naturally aspirated engine, on the other hand, gets only a 5-speed manual transmission.

Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift AMT

Apart from the Kuro Edition, the company has also launched the all-new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift AMT model as well. This model will come available in four variants. These include XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium, and the newly launched Kuro Special Edition.

The new Magnite with EZ-Shift AMT transmission will come available only with the 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 71bhp and 96 Nm of torque. As per the company, the new Magnite EZ-Shift model will be offering an ARAI-certified mileage of 19.70 kmpl.

The special edition showcases our commitment to delivering to the changing aspirational needs and preferences of the discerning customers.” Meanwhile, adding on the launch of the new Magnite EZ-Shift model, Srivastava added, “The Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift, launched today at a very aggressive introductory price, breaks boundaries as the most accessible affordable AMT in SUV, sedan, and hatchback categories and is a game changer for accessible convenience for a wider range of customer preferences for a seamless exciting driving experience.”
