In the last couple of days, we have come across several reports on various social media platforms where two girls on a moving scooter were seen doing stunts on public roads in Uttar Pradesh. These girls were identified by the cops after the videos went viral, and the traffic police issued two fines amounting to a total of Rs 80,500. After the cops issued the fine, the girls have now come forward claiming that they do not have the money to pay the fine.

There are several videos of these girls on social media, and in almost all three videos done by them on the occasion of Holi festival, there are multiple violations. The girls identified as Preeti and Vineeta had collaborated with Piyush, who was seen riding the scooter in these videos.

In one video, these girls were sitting on the rear seat facing each other while Piyush was riding it. In the next video, Piyush was seen riding the scooter while Preeti was standing on the seat of the scooter. She even fell down from the scooter while trying to pull off this stunt.

Other than these two, a video of these two girls putting colors on each other while sitting on the floor of the Delhi Metro surfaced. Action was taken against the offenders after cops received several complaints from the netizens online. The first two videos had multiple traffic rule violations, while the third video had violated the “No photography & videography” rule inside Delhi Metro premises.

Ever since the Delhi Metro has begun its operations, every train on all the routes announces that no one is allowed to play loud music or record video or photographs inside the metro. However, it looks like people tend to do it anyway.

In this case, these girls, however, took things to the next level as they were being a nuisance to other metro passengers and were also an inconvenience. Preeti is from Uttarakhand and is living in Delhi. Her friend Vineeta lives in Noida, and their friend Piyush is from Delhi. They collaborate often to create content.

Preeti, along with the other two, has claimed that they are financially unstable and cannot afford to pay the fine. Preeti is trying to make a career out of social media by creating viral videos. Vineeta and Piyush survive by juggling short gigs. While talking to Aaj Tak, these girls stressed the fact that they are financially unstable and can’t pay the fines imposed by Noida Traffic Police. They also added that their intention was not to put anyone’s life in danger or spread obscenity.

Vineeta told Aaj Tak, “We were just making reels; there’s no problem with that. I want to apologize to everyone because I can’t afford to pay so much money myself. Where will I get so much money from? Please help me a little, at least reduce my challan, as my intention was not to hurt anyone.”

She also added that police warned her of a potential jail term if she fails to pay the fine. We feel these wannabe influencers have learned their lesson and won’t be repeating the mistake in the future.
