Multimillionaire’s Rolls Royce Ghost getting home delivered in Hyderabad, India [Video]

Rolls Royce officially launched the all-new Ghost in the Indian market in 2021. Since then, many customers have received their second-generation Ghost. Here is a video from Hyderabad showing the home delivery of a Rolls Royce Ghost. It demonstrates how expensive vehicles are delivered right to the customers’ doorstep.

The video showcases the delivery process to Mohammed Shoeb, a real estate businessman, who owns the car. It starts by showing his mansion, where the Rolls Royce Ghost is being delivered. In the video, we can also see other luxury cars like the Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari parked in his garage.

Rolls Royce delivers the all-new Ghost on a flatbed and brings it to the customer’s porch. The car is then covered with a black cloth, allowing the new owners to unveil it themselves. The video captures the excitement as the new owners remove the cover, revealing the white Rolls Royce Ghost. They then take the car for a spin within their home complex.

2nd-gen Rolls Royce Ghost

The second-generation Rolls Royce Ghost debuted 11 years after the launch of the first generation. The new Ghost features an aluminum spaceframe, similar to the all-new Phantom, and has increased dimensions. It is 89mm longer and 30mm wider than the previous version, with a height increase of 21mm. However, the wheelbase remains the same at 3,295mm. Rolls Royce has also focused on achieving a perfect 50:50 weight distribution by moving the front suspension mounting forward and placing the engine in front of the axle. The increased dimensions have also resulted in a massive boot space of 507 liters.

The new Ghost comes with sleek laser headlamps that can illuminate over a distance of 600 meters. It also features C-shaped daytime running lamps and a bolder front-end design with an air intake covering the entire width of the vehicle. From the side, the all-new Ghost retains the design of the first-generation model, but with fresh tail lamps at the rear.

Replacing the old 6.6-liter V12 petrol engine, the new Ghost is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12, also used in the Phantom. It produces a maximum power of 571 PS and peak torque of 850 Nm. Its torque peaks at just 1,600 rpm, making it a low-revving engine.

Unlike the first-generation Ghost, which had rear-wheel drive, the all-new Ghost sends power to all four wheels. Despite its heavy weight of around 2.5 tonnes, the new Ghost is remarkably quick. Official data states that it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 205 km/h for safety reasons. The new Ghost also features rear-wheel steering, which improves maneuverability at low speeds and agility at high speeds.

Lamborghini Huracan delivered in a similar way

The delivery of the Lamborghini Huracan took place in Hyderabad. The video starts by showing the Huracan resting on a flatbed truck with a dust cover on it. The bright blue colour that is officially known as ‘Blu Caelum’ can be easily identifiable on the road. While the crew prepares the vehicle to get it down from the flatbed truck, the pedestrians start to gather around. The video also shows a few cars slowing down and taking a look at the majestic convertible Huracan.

Many people can also be seen taking videos of the Huracan while it is being brought down from the truck, while a few people are asking questions about the sportscar to the camera person. As soon as the car gets down, people around can be seen trying to get a peek inside or possibly ask for money from the owner. The owner speeds off from the delivery point with the musical exhaust note and later the video shows the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder entering the garage that already has a few other expensive cars parked.
