Ever since its launch, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 has become a dream bike for many. This café racer motorcycle is priced at Rs 3.19 lakh, and not many people can afford to buy it. Recently fulfilling the dream of one man, an owner of the Continental GT 650 let a security guard ride his bike. This gesture of the Continental GT 650 owner has won the hearts of many online.

The video of this heartwarming gesture has been shared on YouTube by Roving Whizz on their channel. It starts off with a security guard having his hands on the handlebar of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. The owner then says that the bike is in neutral and he can take the bike for a ride. After this, he guides him to turn around the bike from there.

This Continental GT 650 owner says that the guard wanted to ride this bike for a long time. He then tells him to be careful. During this, the security guard can be seen taking the bike for a short spin. After a while, the guard returns and safely parks the bike in the parking. The owner then asks him if he had fun. To this, the guard gives a massive smile.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is one of the most popular café racer motorcycles in the country. It comes equipped with clip-on handlebars, a circular halogen headlamp, a single seat with a racing cowl, a 12.5-litre fuel tank, and blacked-out spoked wheels.

Powering the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a 648 cc, fuel-injected, four-stroke, parallel-twin petrol engine that is air-oil cooled. It produces 47 hp of max power at 7,150 rpm and a peak torque output of 52 Nm at 5,250 rpm.

It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which gets a slip and assist clutch. The engine gets a 270-degree crank for a deep rumbling sound. Additionally, Royal Enfield says that 80 percent of torque is available as low as 2,500 rpm. The engine is known for its smoothness and torquey delivery.

Back in June 2022, the popular Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami bought himself a new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. He opted for the top-end variant chrome variant of the bike, which is called Mr. Clean.

Apart from Shami, Sunny Kaushal, the brother of popular Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, also bought himself a Continental GT 650. His bike is finished in the Dux Deluxe color offered by the Chennai-based bikemaker.

Back in November 2021, Royal Enfield also unveiled anniversary editions of their Interceptor and Continental GT 650 motorcycles at the EICMA 2021. Royal Enfield only produced 480 units of anniversary edition motorcycles in total. Out of this, 120 units each were offered for India, Europe, America, and South-East Asia. Each country received only 60 Continental GT 650s and 60 Interceptor 650 motorcycles.
