Shahrukh Khan reunites with Yezdi motorcycle after 20 years in Jawan

King Khan, more commonly known as Shahrukh Khan, is, hands down, one of the biggest, if not the biggest star in Bollywood. The actor has been in this industry, delivering hits for multiple decades now. Most recently, the actor was seen in what is arguably his most successful movie, “Jawan.” The movie has garnered a lot of fame and has already broken a few records with its box office collections. This movie is not only special for Shahrukh Khan but also for the iconic motorcycle brand Yezdi. In this movie, Shahrukh Khan was seen riding a Yezdi motorcycle after two decades on the big screen.

Shahrukh Khan, as mentioned, has been seen riding a Yezdi after 20 years on the big screen. His first appearance with a Yezdi motorcycle was in his 1994 love/drama movie “Kabhi Haa Kabhi Na,” with the actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi. Now, fast forward to 2023, the actor has been once again seen riding a Yezdi motorcycle in cinemas. The actor, this time around, has been seen riding the brand’s sole adventure motorcycle, the Yezdi Adventure.

One of the first glimpses of the actor riding the Yezdi Adventure was shared with a picture of the actor on the bike on a red screen, where the bike and Shahrukh were painted in black. The picture showed the actor smoking a cigarette and standing on the bike with his hands on the handlebar of the adventure motorcycle.

Another shot from the movie shows the actor riding the bike close to a white truck. This picture is shown along with Shahrukh Khan’s first appearance with a Yezdi bike. The movie boasts many scenes where the actor and other stars of the movie were seen riding the bike. One of the main scenes, which shows the grand entrance of the Yezdi Adventure motorcycle, shows a cavalcade of 5 bikes, with one even attached with a sidecar.

Shahrukh Khan’s “Jawan”

Coming to the details of the movie, Shahrukh Khan’s “Jawan,” as mentioned, has been making ripples across India. The movie has collected a total of Rs. 530 crore from the global box office at the time of writing. Most likely, it will do a lot more business in India and across the globe.

In the movie, Shahrukh Khan is playing the role of Azad Rathore, who is a prison officer at a women’s prison. Shahrukh (Rathore in the movie) has been given a purpose to clear the name of his soldier-father, Vikram Rathore, and keep a promise made to his mother, Aishwarya (Actress Deepika Padukone), to become a vigilante and bring justice to the oppressed. The movie also has a great message in the end, which a ton of people have shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Yezdi Adventure

As for the bike in the movie ridden by Shahrukh Khan, it is the Yezdi Adventure motorcycle. This bike is the direct rival of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Adventure motorcycle. The Yezdi Adventure motorcycle is powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 30.2bhp and 29.9Nm of torque. All of this power generated is sent to the rear wheels using a 6-speed gearbox.
