All you need to know about Tata Punch.EV: Each and every feature listed

Tata Motors has launched the new Punch.EV all-electric vehicle with prices starting at Rs 10.99 lakh, making it a worthy alternative to the Citroen eC3, while bridging the gap between Tiago.EV and Nexon.EV. Tata Motors has dropped a commercial video of the all-new Punch.EV on its social media handles, which explains every feature, along with powertrain details of the all-electric vehicle.

The video commercial of the new Tata Punch.EV has a very youthful and colourful vibe, with the star highlight being the vehicle itself. The first feature mentioned in the video is the new front charging port, which has an electrically operated flap that slides sideways to allow access to the charging port behind it. The newly connected LED daytime running light, which spreads across the width of the front fascia, also serves as the charging indicator, showing how much the battery has charged during the charging process.

The video progresses with a few glimpses of the exterior and interior of the Tata Punch.EV, following the showcasing of new features like LED projector headlamps, shark fin antenna, new twin-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and smartphone and smartwatch connectivity, which allows the owner to operate several functions of the car from the electronic devices.

The video also highlights other features of the exterior, like 16-inch alloy wheels, and smart daytime-running LEDs with sequential turn indicators. Then comes the preview of all the features of the cabin, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient mood lighting, and leatherette seats with ventilation function for front seats.

Other features like an electronic parking brake with auto hold, 360-degree parking camera, 90-degree opening doors, 360-litre boot space, air purifier with AQI display, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, six airbags, SOS calling function, voice-assisted sunroof and a 10.25-inch full-TFT instrument console are also highlighted in the video.

The video also showcases the performance numbers of the Tata Punch.EV, which is capable of covering the 0-100 kmph sprint in 9.5 seconds and a maximum range of 421 km. The Punch.EV also comes with paddle shifters for multi-mode regeneration. The video concludes with a few visuals of the Punch.EV is driven over off-road terrains and showcases features like Arcade.EV suite of features and frunk.

The Tata Punch.EV has been launched in two versions – Standard Range with 25kWh battery with a claimed range of 315 km and Long Range with 35kWh battery claiming 421 km range. Bookings for the Tata Punch.EV were already open, and with the announcement of prices, the deliveries of the new Tata electric vehicle will start happening across the country.

The company recently introduced Punch.ev in India, and it has different prices depending on the version. The starting price is Rs 10.99 lakh, and the highest is Rs 14.49 lakh. There are two main types: Standard range and Long-range.

For the Standard range, there are four options: Smart at Rs 10.99 lakh, Smart+ at Rs 11.49 lakh, Adventure at Rs 11.99 lakh, and Empowered and Empowered+ at Rs 12.79 lakh and Rs 13.29 lakh, respectively. Then, there are two Long-range options: Adventure at Rs 12.99 lakh and Empowered+ at Rs 14.49 lakh. So, you can choose the one that suits you best!
