YouTuber surprises his father with a brand new MG Astor SUV [video]

There are hardly any people who do not like gifts. Recently, we have come across several videos on social media where people are giving expensive gifts to their parents, siblings, and spouse. Here, we have one such video where a YouTuber surprised his father with a brand new MG Astor mid-size SUV. This is how his father reacted after receiving the gift.

The video has been uploaded by IITian Trader on his YouTube channel. In the video, the vlogger talks about his plan for the video and mentions that his father had been looking for a small SUV for a very long time. Just like many parents, when he asked his father about buying a car, his father told him not to buy one at the moment. He knew his father wanted a car, so he decided to surprise him with one. He did his research and found that most of the vehicles in the market had a waiting period, and he did not want to wait. His father wanted an SUV that was not too big and not too small. This meant that he was looking for a mid-size SUV, which gave him a bit more clarity about the SUV that he wanted to buy.

He went ahead and found that almost all mid-size SUVs had a long waiting period except the MG Astor. He found that the Astor was a feature-loaded SUV and was good-looking too. He then made a booking, and the dealership asked him to take the delivery in just four days. Initially, the YouTuber was planning to gift him a gold jewelry, but his brother told him to buy a car as his father was already interested in one. The YouTuber, along with his friends and brother, drove to the nearest MG dealership to take delivery.

After finishing the paperwork, the vlogger and his brother took delivery of the car and did a small pooja before driving the car out. In the video, the YouTuber can be heard saying that he never thought he would be this excited to buy a car. He mentions that he is more excited now than he was when he bought his Fortuner SUV. The dealership staff gave the key to the customer, and they took the car out. The vlogger mentions that his parents have no idea about this gift.

They drove the car home, and when they reached, his mother was waiting for them outside the house. He asked his friend to park the Astor in front of their house and called his father. His father was completely surprised to see a brand new car outside his house, and when he realized that it was a gift for him, his excitement doubled. His happiness was quite evident on his face, and after checking out the SUV, his father did a small pooja outside their house, and they distributed sweets after that. The exact variant of Astor that the YouTuber bought for his father is not known. The MG Astor is offered with two petrol engine options. There is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 110 Ps and 144 Nm of peak torque. The 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine generates 140 Ps and 220 Nm of peak torque. This engine is only offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
